I am a writer who lives like a writer. I do it on many levels, but mostly, I breathe writing. I think a lot, I read a lot. I was born in Toronto, and while many run away, and become famous, and live in other countries- bless them- I prefer to stay here. I love my city, tho I do like to travel, I am very particular in where I go. New York is amazing, and I wouldn't mind living there once democracy has been restored in the states. I don't think that ALL women need to be feminists. I don't think I need to say I am one to be A WOMAN! I don't like all the politically correct bullshit that is going around. We should always be allowed to express our own opinions, beliefs, fears, hopes, whatever they are, in the way we feel them- barring- going beyond racist and bigoted views. I am a person. A human being. Color doesn't enter into it for me. Though I am aware that it affects everyone, I think it should that 98% of free thinking, NORMAL *cough* people realize we are in the same boat, no matter what your background, or your skin color. I believe in the goodness of people- and I don't care if I get derided for that, or mocked, or whatever. That says more about the other person than it does about me. I have a good heart- however 'cliche'd' that may be, and I am proud of that. I am a damn good writer, tho I am self taught, and I can mangle sentences any way I want! Life is good, people need to see the good things in others- even the hurt, damaged, and people who have 'given up' and jumped on the cynical bandwagon. You stay there. I will stay here, and be myself. xo.
